Gabby and Jake
I sure do love a New Year's Eve Wedding and this one was no exception! It was the perfect warm winter day and honestly we totally lucked out! Winter light is just magical when you get it! AND it's perfect all day long since the sun is so low in the sky!! Gabby and Jake added to it - A DREAM!!! I couldn't wait to get their blog up because there were too many beautiful photos to just be sitting on my computer!
These two are a perfect match! Gabby and Jake both work in a school system with kids and have so many similarities! It takes special people to teach young kids and they have the perfect personalities for it: kind, patient, caring, and very go with the flow from what I saw on their wedding day! The perfect qualities when your job is to coach and teach! I love that they have jobs that are similar because I feel like it is so nice to be able to talk to your spouse and have them understand your job. I am sure they will be there for each other many times throughout their careers through the good days and the bad.
I always love listening to their best friends' speeches and how they have been such an important part of their friends' and families' lives. It always sums up their personalities perfectly. Their friends definitely confirmed how so many people feel about them. These two are always ready to help those around them and lend a listening, caring ear when someone needs it. They show all those around them kindness! They had so many of their friends and family there to support them and I am sure the night was so much fun as they all rang in the New Year together.
I sure am thankful that Oakley has these two in our community! They are such a great addition to the school system and I'm sure all the elementary to high school kids they work with are thankful as well!!
